Sweetest Vacation Ever.
Longest Drive Ever...
Alright, so Marcus and I are finally finished with school until next Fall. What a great feeling to be done with tough classes, hard assignments, and no time spent together! We are definitely ready for a break! And to congratulate ourselves for a great year we decided to treat ourselves to this cruise to celebrate our one year anniversary and my birthday since we're doing the whole Pest Control thing again this summer in St. Louis.
We leave tomorrow (friday) to go to Las Vegas to stay with Michael and Laura Rawlins and then head to L.A. on Saturday to see this musical! I've read the book, heard the reviews, and now we're finally going to go! I'm so excited, and am so grateful to Bill, Carolyn, and Marcus for surprising me with tickets! Then on Sunday we leave from San Diego for a week to Cabo, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. What pure bliss I tell ya...I just hope we don't get sunburned, motion sickness, or food poisoning on the first day and have to spend the rest of the trip in our cabin.
Downside to all of this...after the vaca we have to drive from San Diego to St. Louis. Mapquest says 26 hours and 33 minutes for 1,854 mi. and yes that is more than half way across the U.S. Did I mention that we have to make it in 3 days, Oh joy!
You guys will have so much fun. I'll miss you this weekend, but eat some food on the cruise buffet and think of me!
ReplyDeleteHave fun Ashley and Marcus! That sounds like the perfect way to start that cross country drive..a nice big vacation!
ReplyDeleteThat drive will be so worth it though. And besides, no pressure of school. Yeah. Have a blast and that musical sounds scarey. Not. Enjoy each other Ashley.
ReplyDeleteJealous! Have so much fun!
ReplyDeletep.s. Don't listen to Michael R. Wicked is AWESOME! Ryan and I both loved every second.
I hope you guys have a wonderful time. Remember what I said about buffets...if not check out my "viva Las Vegas" entry. Enjoy every minute of it and take lots of pictures so....say in July when its hot and muggy and nobody wants to buy bug spray service you can look back and remember that it is kinda worth it.
ReplyDeleteHey! You're going to love the play! It's awesome! And good luck on the car trip...hopefully it will go faster than you think. Are you both working for the same place in St. Louis?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the good grades, you two! I already heard you loved Wicked, can't wait to hear how the cruise goes. See you in St Louis on the 17th!
