In Kansas, whether you recreate the Wizard of Oz or visit the World's Largest Cornfield, you have to come up with your own things to do here! That's why we declared this past weekend as National Jayhawk Day! Currently our Pest Control adventures have landed us here in Lawrence, KS and that is where the
University of Kansas is. So on Saturday we went down to the bookstore and bought ourselves some Jayhawk gear, and then yesterday we walked around campus in 98 degree heat (+ humidity=death) to tour the sites. Nevertheless, we were still able to smile in all of the pictures, but don't be fooled! Here are some of our favorite memories...
The boys are posing in front of "Strong Hall" in that last picture (and no they don't just go around posing like that naturally; although, maybe they should, what beefcakes!) and YES, the UofK has their very own Jayhawk Coke Can! I could hardly contain myself...As many of you probably know, the Jaywawks won the NCAA Championship this year so the trophy is on display in their Fieldhouse. Unfortunately, out of all of the buildings we went into, the Fieldhouse was the only building closed on Sundays...So instead, here's the boys on display after we found out...
Happy Jayhawk Day!
