We leave next Friday and already in class my mind is on Hawaii: "Social control theory is...'I wonder how warm the water will be? I cant wait for the cultural center and temple, will it be humid there? Should I really bring my straightener then, oh I can't wait for shaved ice!'...What is social control theory again?"
Last FHE we went over to Jen and Corys and carved pumpkins, it has become sort of a Halloween tradition for Marcus and I. So in honor of our current BYU Football status, say hello to our pumpkin...

Glad to know you're still alive! I wondered where you went. That pumpkin is awesome! But hey, maybe BYU will come back to the Vegas bowl and we'll actually get to go this year. It's not all bad :) What are you going to Hawaii for? I'm so jealous!

I love how its real...not fake like some peeps who you know are full of it because their lives are no where near what they pretend on their blog to be! ANYWAY...I'm so glad to hear that you've only been absent...not practicing abstinence! haha...because you KNOW we don't believe in that in our house!!! Love the pumpkins too.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment Ash! And although I agree that if your gonna have short hair, for sure the cutest is SUPER short I actually am stupid and regret YET AGAIN cutting my hair! Its because I have a little problem with waiting. Once my hair gets to that hard in-between stage then I want a change. My goal is always to grow it out again...but because I am so implusive and can have short hair in minutes, I always cut it. This haircut I think is really cute, and in fact I point out to Kyle all the time how cute girls' hair is that have my exact cut...but I really want long hair...so wish I would just have a little self control and paitently wait for it to grow long!! So...I am totally jealous of you right now for two reasons...your hair is longer than mine AND you'll be in Hawaii next week!!! Have fun!! And keep Marcus away from the coconut bras!

ReplyDeleteWell. . . as for the Hawaii thing, DON'T take your straightener. It doesn't work. Actually it makes it worse as I found out this last spring when I went. Head scarves and headbands and LOTS of bobby pins work well though=]
