PRAGUE, THE REAL CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS

We ended our trip in Prague where Marcus’ aunt and uncle are currently serving a church mission. We were so lucky to have them as our tour guides for a few days. They knew all the best restaurants and even took us to a chocolate cafe! As soon as our girls met up with them, it was like they had a second pair of grandparents on the trip! They loved holding hands with them as we went from landmark to landmark. Unfortunately, our girls were probably at their worst while we were there. I think exhaustion was finally starting setting in! We were able to see lots of incredible cathedrals and landmarks of history and every time we’d walk what felt like 10 ft, there was something new to see! Prague really is one of the coolest cities we’ve ever been to! It truly is the city that never sleeps.

Marcus' aunt even had us over to their place for a traditional Czech breakfast. It was SO good and I don't think we left a single crumb untouched. Our girls gobbled it down. It is always such a treat to have Marcus' aunt cook for you, she's amazing at what she does. So this was even more special to be able to see her in her new place cook something just for us!

One of our favorite places we saw was the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The stained glass windows were stunning and the views of city from the castle were amazing! So many red roofed buildings and cathedral domes for miles looking in either direction. But of course our favorite thing was the food, the company, and the ice cream. And Prague did not disappoint in any of those areas!
