Ticket to Where?

January 29, 2009

My name is Ashley, and I'm a game-aholic...

Have any of you played this?

I absolutely love trying new games,
(especially ones that I can actually beat Marcus at!)
It looks ghetto, I know...But it's great for kids 10+
Not to mention, you can play with 2 players or 5.
We can't stop playing. So this is my game shout out.
Love.
It.

Sleepless In Seattle

January 22, 2009

This past weekend, Marcus and I went to Seattle for my Aunt Vicki's 50th Birthday Bash. Although we were only there for 48 hours, we packed so much into our trip and had such a good time visiting with family, dancing till dawn, and eating at Ivar's (never been to an Ivar's? Well your probably not from the Northwest, and I'll be honest, you're missing out!) As for my Aunt, she sure knows how to throw a party! If there's any way to turn a year older, that was definitely the way to do it! On Friday we went to the Space Needle, the Experience Music Project and Laser Show. Then on Saturday we went down to Pike's Place Market where they throw the infamous fish and even got to hit up a little shopping at this favorite place of mine.
Later that night we dressed up for the party on a dinner cruise, and as the boat circled the Puget Sound, we got our groove on.

The first mistake, letting us girls come up and sing. Second mistake, playing "Mustang Sally" and Meatloaf.

The live band was fantastic and they even let my brother come up and play, he did an amazing job! He's the next big thing...
And lastly, a big thanks to mom, thanks for such a great weekend! (Please, ignore the dazed look on my face...I stayed up watching Juno late the night before)

A New Year, A New Look

January 19, 2009

Sorry about the hiatus, but life has been busy with new school schedules, lots of homework, and going to class every day of the week. I know, life's tough right? But it is! So for the new year, we decided we needed a blog upgrade. We're still working out the details, but for now, I've missed blogging and have recommitted to updating this more frequently!...We'll see how long it lasts.
